Pet+ER is looking to add additional Part Time Emergency Veterinarians to the team at our brand-new Hunt Valley, MD location. We just opened in June 2023!

Currently our strongest needs are for swing and overnight shifts. We offer a competitive sign-on bonus, CE allowance, uniform allowance, VIN access, 401k match, and Employee Pet Wellness Plan! Our compensation model is ProSal, with a full-time base salary range of $140,000 to $185,000 with earning potential of $140,000 to $350,000 when factoring in production. No negative accrual. Part-time salary will be pro-rated from the above range, based on experience, number of shifts per period, etc.

At Pet+ER, we provide 24-hour emergency and critical care services and the highest level of support possible to our patients and their owners -- under the oversight of our Medical Director, Dr. Tanya Tag, who is a boarded criticalist.

Our state-of-the-art facility is equipped to handle the specific needs of each patient. We have a comprehensive suite of equipment and services all under one roof to handle the most severe animal injuries and illnesses, including digital radiology, in-house lab, ICU, surgery suites with LigaSure, oxygen ward, isolation ward, and high flow oxygen. Our facility is shared with board-certified specialists in:

· Surgery

· Dentistry 

· Neurology 

· Canine Rehabilitation

· Internal Medicine

· Oncology

· Cardiology

We have a plentiful and interesting caseload, keeping all our staff engaged and providing many opportunities for employees to challenge themselves. For this position, we are interested in speaking with internship trained and/or experienced ER DVMs who are comfortable with emergency surgery.
