Murphy Animal Clinic is a high volume, well-established, small animal hospital located in scenic Murphy, NC. We are seeking an Associate Veterinarian to join our team! Does your idea of a perfect opportunity include working in a family atmosphere, practicing a high level of medicine, and living in the mountains?  Murphy Animal Clinic has a tenured, compassionate staff that treats one another and clients like family, while providing a full range of veterinary services.  We pride ourselves on our work-life balance and are open Monday-Friday, our veterinarians are regularly out of the office by 6pm. We are a center focused on teaching, learning, and mentorship of our entire clinic along with properly educating our clients.  Skills and Basic Qualifications

 * Candidate must be a graduate from an AVMA accredited college or have successfully passed the ECFVG certification program or the PAVE certification program 

 * Licensure in good standing to practice in the state in which applicant is to be employed

 * Excellent verbal and written communication skills

 * A commitment to practicing the highest standard of medicine and upholding the veterinary code of ethics

 * Demonstrates excellent time and task management

 * Demonstrates professional and courteous presentation with staff and clients
