Emergency Veterinarian, ER/CCU/Urgent Care Assistant Medical Director – Redwood City, CA

We are seeking an Emergency doctor who will work full-time clinical duties (10-12 shifts a month) and part-time Assistant Medical Director duties at our beautiful SAGE Redwood City hospital.

Our hospital has a busy caseload and highly trained clinical staff who have access to plentiful CE and growth opportunities provided by SAGE’s Learning and Development department. Doctors collaborate across the following specialties:
• Critical Care
• Urgent Care
• Anesthesiology
• Cardiology
• Internal Medicine
• Surgery
• Neurology
• Oncology
• Physical Rehab

General Job Description:
The Assistant Medical Director works with other department Medical Directors to support and assist teams with recruiting, assessment, hiring and onboarding of doctor staff. They also attend business related meetings and participate in ongoing professional and hospital development.

Schedule:
Flexible administrative schedule; 10-12 clinical shifts a month.

Location:
Join our team in Redwood City! Our hospitals are approximately 1 hour from San Francisco, 3.5 hrs to the Sierras/Tahoe, or Yosemite.
