National Veterinary Associates – General Practice (NVA-GP)


Job Summary


The Associate Corporate Recruiter supports NVA-GP’s hiring efforts by partnering closely with the Corporate Recruiting team to attract, engage, and hire top talent across the organization. This is an entry-level recruiting role designed for individuals eager to build a foundation in full-cycle recruiting within a dynamic and purpose-driven organization. The Associate Corporate Recruiter will manage candidate pipelines, coordinate interviews, and deliver an exceptional candidate experience while developing core recruiting competencies.


Key Responsibilities

  • Support full-cycle recruiting activities for assigned roles, with an emphasis on high-volume requisitions
  • Review and screen resumes to assess candidate qualifications and alignment with role requirements
  • Conduct initial candidate outreach and phone screens, clearly communicating role expectations and next steps
  • Coordinate interviews between candidates, hiring managers, and internal stakeholders
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date candidate records within the applicant tracking system (ATS)
  • Manage multiple requisitions simultaneously while meeting hiring timelines and service-level expectations
  • Provide a professional, responsive, and positive candidate and hiring manager experience throughout the recruitment process
  • Assist with offer preparation and onboarding coordination

Minimum Qualifications

  • 2+ years of professional experience in a corporate environment
  • Bachelor’s degree required (Business, Human Resources, Psychology, or related field preferred)
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • High attention to detail with the ability to manage and prioritize multiple tasks
  • Comfort working in a fast-paced, high-volume environment
  • Strong organizational and time-management skills
  • Proficiency with basic technology tools (e.g., Microsoft Office, Smartsheet)

Preferred Qualifications

  • Prior experience in recruiting, human resources, talent acquisition, or sales
  • Exposure to high-volume hiring environments (e.g., retail, healthcare, hospitality, or customer service)
  • Demonstrated interest in talent acquisition or human resources as a career path
  • Experience using applicant tracking systems or CRM tools
  • Ability to balance speed and quality while maintaining a high standard of professionalism
