Lindsey Veterinary Hospital is a vibrant and inclusive multi-vet clinic located in the beautiful city of Penticton, BC. We are dedicated to providing exceptional care to our patients, which include cats, dogs, and a small number of exotic pets. We are seeking a compassionate and skilled Associate Veterinarian with a keen interest in surgery and dentistry to join our team.

Our spacious hospital boasts a large treatment area, five exam rooms, one comfort room, and a dedicated doctor's office where every veterinarian has their own workstation. We pride ourselves on our welcoming and fun-loving team, ensuring that laughter and camaraderie are part of our daily routine. Our clinic has excellent staff retention, highlighting the supportive and enjoyable work environment we maintain.

We offer a competitive compensation package with a salary ranging from $100,000 to $120,000, depending on experience and your desired schedule, along with excellent earning potential based on performance. Job Responsibilities

• Build rapport with clients by gathering information and listening to and empathizing with their concerns.
• Perform physical examinations and diagnostic/medical/surgical/dental procedures that deliver the highest quality care while minimizing patient stress and discomfort. 
• Communicates with clients on topics such as pet diagnosis, treatment plans, preventive health care, and nutritional needs.
• Maintains client/patient medical/surgical records and makes certain all necessary logs are kept up-to-date through established protocols.
• Stays current on new medical information and changes in veterinary medicine.
• Presents a positive image of the hospital in the professional community and to the public.

Skills and Basic Qualifications

• A Doctor of Veterinary Medicine (DVM) or related degree from an accredited university. 
• Licensure in good standing to practice in Canada.
• Commitment to practicing the highest standard of medicine and upholding veterinary code of ethics.
