Are you ready to embark on a new adventure? Our team is growing at Beattie Pet Hospital – Stoney Creek, and we’re excited to welcome two exceptional Associate Veterinarians with a minimum of 2-3 years of experience.

With a rotating shift of 3 to 4 nights per week, you'll have the opportunity to immerse yourself in a diverse range of cases and experiences, all while being supported by our experienced colleagues.


Our state-of-the-art facility is equipped with the latest tools and technology, enabling you to practice veterinary medicine at the highest standard. From gold-standard preventative care to soft tissue surgery, dentistry and more, you'll have access to all the resources you need to thrive.

Job Responsibilities

  • Build rapport with clients by gathering information and listening to and empathizing with their concerns.
  • Perform physical examinations and diagnostic/medical/surgical/dental procedures that deliver the highest quality care while minimizing patient stress and discomfort. 
  • Communicates with clients on topics such as pet diagnosis, treatment plans, preventive health care, and nutritional needs.
  • Maintains client/patient medical/surgical records and makes certain all necessary logs are kept up-to-date through established protocols.
  • Stays current on new medical information and changes in veterinary medicine.
  • Presents a positive image of the hospital to the professional community and to the public.

Skills and Basic Qualifications

  • A Doctor of Veterinary Medicine (DVM) or related degree from an accredited university. 
  • Licensure in good standing to practice in Ontario.
  • Commitment to practicing the highest standard of medicine and upholding veterinary code of ethics.
