Associate Veterinarian

Alpine Veterinary Medical Centre

Job Description

$20,000 Signing Bonus for our next Associate Veterinarian to join the excitement at Alpine Veterinary Medical Centre in Whitehorse, Yukon!

Who We Are: We’re a vibrant, collaborative, multi-DVM team who love the outdoors. While we’re a busy practice, we believe in work-life balance and offer flexible scheduling options, including part-time, full-time, short work weeks, and locum positions. As a predominantly small animal clinic, working with large animals is not a requirement for this opportunity. Located in a beautiful and diverse region, our practice sees a variety of cases that make each day unique.

Our team includes ten full-time technicians, plus additional part-time and locum technicians, ensuring you have support whenever you need it. By partnering with others in the region, after-hours responsibilities are significantly reduced, so you can enjoy more time exploring the outdoors and everything Yukon has to offer.

Step Inside: Pull up a virtual chair and get a feel for our welcoming culture - Watch Here. Take a tour, meet the team at Alpine Vet, and dive into all the Yukon has to offer Here.

Let’s Talk About You: Whether you're a seasoned pro looking to dive deeper into your interests or a recent grad eager to kickstart your clinical adventure with our industry-leading mentorship program, we'd love to meet you. For those who are passionate about outdoor activities or photography, you’ll find a home in the breathtaking scenery of Whitehorse.

Our Offer: In addition to a $20,000 signing bonus, you’ll enjoy competitive compensation, industry-leading benefits (health/dental), RRSP matching, uniform allowance, paid sick days, and paid vacation.  We prioritize CE with a $4,000 allowance, 5 paid CE days, and 2 additional paid travel days. You’ll enjoy 13 stat holidays, and did we mention our clinic ski pass? That’s included too!

Settling In: With support from our local contacts, you’ll find the perfect home, whether for a shorter visit or a relocation.
