Job Description

Care Animal Emergency Services is seeking veterinarians to join our expanding medical center! What you want is what we have!  We are open to full-time, part-time and flex shifts for doctors looking to work in GP, ER, or a combination of both. Our small animal practice provides reliable general practice care for our valued clients and offers emergency medicine and critical care services 24 hours a day. We perform a variety of soft tissue and orthopedic surgeries to suit your interest. If you prefer no surgery, there is a place for you here, too.

For new graduates, this position will be included in the NVA Illinois Mentorship Program. In this program, our ADVMs will have access to:

  • One on one surgical and medical support ranging from in-hospital surgical training and regular medical case review from Dr. Sandra Faeh. 
  • Suite of wellness programming focusing on stress management and cultivating a balanced approach to your life
  • Cohort of other new graduate ADVMs in Illinois with planned social events, team bonding, and engagement, regardless of current clinic worked in      

Located 40 minutes from Chicago and neighboring Naperville, Plainfield is a large and vibrant community perfect for families or young adults. Downtown Plainfield and Naperville offer many restaurants, breweries, and shopping establishments. If you love the outdoors, there are many trails, nature preserves, and the DuPage River is a great place to kayak. 

CARE/Animal Medical Center of Plainfield provides comprehensive animal care services to pets in Plainfield, Joliet, Bolingbrook, Naperville, Romeoville, and the surrounding communities.
