College Garden Animal Hospital is looking for an Associate Veterinarian to join our 3 other doctors and a highly skilled support team. We are a well-established, full-service, small animal veterinary hospital providing comprehensive medical, surgical, and dental care. An ideal candidate will have an efficient work ethic and a strong desire to practice progressive medicine. We strive to deliver the best patient care possible by providing the highest standard of veterinary medicine and excellent customer service. While working with our team, you will feel the support throughout our hospital from our team members and our clients.  As our hospital continues to grow, our enthusiastic team continues to develop through continuing education and dedication.


About Our Hospital

  • In-house laboratory-IDEXX Procyte and Catalyst with full-service IDEXX reference laboratory
  • Digital IDEXX Digital Radiology with VetPACS and Telemedicine available
  • Full-service small animal medicine with a dedicated surgical suite and dedicated Dental space with digital dental radiography
  • Avimark
  • We are very willing and excited to explore new ideas in medical procedures and pharmacology and have an expansive in-house pharmacy and online pharmacy with home delivery


We are a team-oriented hospital with our experienced doctors willing to share their knowledge and discuss complex cases. Our team offers mentorship for new graduates in addition to a 12-month mentorship program. We are more than happy to assist while encouraging new associates' independence.


Work-Life Balance

We offer flexible scheduling, with the potential for Rotating Prompt-Care Weekends with the following week off. Roswell is a lovely community in Southern New Mexico, and home to the international UFO museum!  We have annual UFO Festivals and various other festivals throughout the year: Piñata Fest, Cinco de Mayo, Chile Cheese Fest, Jazz Festival, Dragonfly Festival at Bitterlakes Wildlife Refuge, Southeastern NM State Fair, etc.!  We are 13 miles from Bottomless Lakes State Park; 75 miles from Carlsbad Caverns National Park; 70 miles from Ruidoso and Ski Apache.  Many cities are about a 3-hour drive from Roswell (El Paso, Las Cruces, Lubbock, Midland/Odessa, Albuquerque, Santa Fe, Amarillo).  The cost of living here is reasonable, and the people are friendly.
