Job Description

Entertain, interact with, and supervise groups of playful dogs. Must be patient and tolerant of active and excited dogs in general, loud barking and constant activity. Dog hair, muddy paws and poop pick-up are part of the job. 

Experience working with dogs preferred but not required. We provide a course in dog handling and behavior. 

Ability to multi-task and remain calm in a fast-paced, sometimes stressful environment. 

Able to remember multiple dog names and their individual personalities. Proactively stop rough or inappropriate interactions between dogs of all sizes and weights. Managing and maintaining order within large playgroups of dogs, actively monitoring for any aggressive or inappropriate behavior. Clean up of dog urine, feces and vomit as needed, vacuum, mop, wash dog dishes; overall cleaning and maintenance of the daycare. Able (and willing) to stand for long periods of time and be physically active throughout the shift. Our playgroups are active and require you to be engaged! We are seeking someone enthusiastic and self motivated.

(Bending, crouching, walking, and lifting is mandatory); this is a physically demanding job. Ability to lift 50 lbs with no restrictions.

Scheduling Requirements: Monday through Friday: Hours can vary - Full and Part Time shifts are available. Reliability is mandatory! 

Compensation is $16 / Hour
