Responsibilities:
- Proactively monitor playgroups of daycare dogs, accurately identifying warning signs and intervening to prevent escalation
- Objectively record behavior concerns or incidents and report to supervisors
- Check-in incoming boarders, organizing belongings and setting up instructions for a comfortable stay
- Prepare outgoing boarders for dismissal, gathering belongings and cleaning pet as needed
- Feed and medicate boarding dogs and cats 2-3x per day as directed
- Use appropriate chemicals and tools to clean all occupied kennels according to established protocols
- Operate power washer or hoses to clean runs, floors, turf
- Read handling instructions and follow warning labels to ensure safety of all pets.
- Bathe and brush dogs, nail trims for dogs and cats
- Utilize Gingr facility software on phone, tablet, or PC for record keeping and task management
- Monitor inventory and supplies, alert supervisor when an order is needed.
- Complete task lists for daily, weekly, and monthly facility sanitation and upkeep
Schedule
· Weekdays: Morning shift 6:45-12 or 1pm, Afternoon shift 1 or 2pm-6pm
Rotating late night let out: after 8pm, 30-60min
· Must have weekend and holiday availability
