Certified Veterinary Assistant

Big Sky Animal Medical Center

Job Description

🐾 We’re Hiring a Licensed Veterinary Technician (LVT / RVT / CVT)! 🐾
Big Sky Animal Medical Center

Big Sky Animal Medical Center is a 24/7 emergency and general practice hospital in Great Falls, Montana — and we’re entering an important new chapter.

With updated leadership and a renewed focus on culture and communication, we’re actively rebuilding our team and are excited to welcome a Licensed Veterinary Technician who wants to be part of what’s next.

We’ve proudly served this community since 1995 and remain the go-to ER for Great Falls and surrounding rural areas. This is a hands-on role for a credentialed tech who enjoys surgery support, anesthesia, and meaningful emergency medicine.

Why this LVT role stands out:

  • True 24/7 ER & urgent care medicine
  • Hands-on surgery, anesthesia, and dental support
  • Strong technician tenure (including team members with 6–16+ years)
  • Open to out-of-state licenses — we’ll support Montana licensure
  • New leadership, clear direction, and a strong commitment to improving culture and sustainability

🗓 Schedule highlights:

  • Full-time, 10-hour shifts
  • Weekend availability required (Saturday required; Sunday strongly preferred)

💰 $20–$22/hr (higher possible for highly experienced techs or after a probation period)
🎓 License reimbursement + generous pet care and boarding benefits

📩 If you’ve worked here before — or heard about us — we invite you to take another look. We’re focused on building a healthier, more supportive environment for our technicians and doctors, and we’d love to connect.
