Job Description

McDowell Mountain Animal Hospital in Scottsdale, Where pets are our family, is currently seeking skilled CVT/Veterinary Technicians/CSRs to join our growing small animal practice team.

All positions require a positive and friendly attitude, great client service skills, and a desire to compassionately care for animals.

The ideal candidate will be a dependable, self-motivated, team player with excellent communication skills who is also able to work independently and has a desire to continue learning and honing their skills. Technician candidates should be able to safely restrain patients, perform x-rays, prep for and assist with surgical and dental procedures, perform venipuncture, place IV catheters, maintain accurate patient records, obtain patient history, and educate clients about common pet health concerns. The positions also require cleaning enclosures, feeding, bathing, and walking patients.

At least one year experience in the veterinary field is preferred and a working knowledge of Avimark is a bonus, however, we are willing to train the right person with the right attitude!

Our hours of operation are Mon-Fri 8:00am to 6:00pm and Sat 8:00am to 5:00pm. Scheduled days and hours may vary based on the needs of the hospital and some weekend and overtime work is possible.
