About Us:

Located in beautiful Colorado Springs with an amazing view of Pikes Peak right outside our front door - We are a well-established, 6 doctor, 7 day a week, 365 day a year, emergency facility for canine and feline patients.

We are a growing practice dedicated to providing top quality critical and emergency care with state-of-the-art full in-house diagnostic labs, a modern surgical suite, full in-house pharmacy, and nursing suite.

At Uintah Pet Emergency creating and maintaining a supportive, educational, and balanced culture is extremely important to us. Team building and support is our JAM! We host monthly in-house continuing education, as well as taking the fun outside the clinic doors with activities such asgoat yoga,go-kart racing,escape rooms, and team dinners. Technicians are a VITAL part of our care team and allow us to continue to grow and support the community’s furry friends.

  • Schedule – Flexible scheduling!
    • Clinic is open 7 days per week, 12pm-12am – with goals of expanding these hours in the future!
    • 3x12hr & 4x10hr shifts available, one weekend day required
    • Weekend shift differential provided & time-and-a-half paid on holidays

About You:

  • Credentials as a Veterinary Technician or recent graduate from AVMA accredited Technical College (with plans to take VTNE)
  • · Previous Veterinary experience
  • · Ability to execute treatment orders as directed by a DVM (to include placing IV Catheters, phlebotomy, Injections, Anesthesia Induction and Monitoring, perioperative surgical nursing etc).

Benefits:

  • Competitive Compensation -The base hourly range for this position is $22 - $28. Our pay ranges are primarily determined by role, level, and location. The range provided for each job posting reflects the minimum and maximum target for the position. Within the range, individual pay is determined by work location and additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training.
