Certified Veterinary Technician (CVT)

Southeast Veterinary Oncology & Internal Medicine

Job Description

Join a passionate team where compassion, teamwork, and excellence are at the heart of everything we do!

SEVO-Med is looking for a Veterinary Oncology Nurse to join our specialty team in providing life-changing care to pets and their families. Our hospital is built on compassion, positivity, and teamwork — where we work hard, celebrate each other, and treat every patient like our own.

About Us:
We are a specialty oncology and internal medicine hospital committed to providing outstanding care for pets — and creating a supportive, collaborative environment for our team. Here, we believe in lifting each other up, working together across departments, and growing both personally and professionally.

What You'll Bring:

  • 2+ years of veterinary experience or veterinary technician license

  • Passion for the field of oncology and patient care

  • A cheerful, professional, and reliable attitude

  • Excellent communication skills and attention to detail

  • A commitment to teamwork, positivity, and continuous learning

  • Motivation to support both people and pets in a compassionate way

Your Impact:

  • Help triage, care for, and support oncology patients with skill and compassion

  • Assist in client education and create meaningful client relationships

  • Safely and effectively manage chemotherapy treatments with patient and team safety in mind

  • Work closely with doctors, client services, and medical teams to ensure the best possible patient experience

  • Contribute to a positive hospital environment — we believe attitude matters as much as technical skill!

What You'll Find Here:

  • A welcoming, pet-loving, and people-centered culture

  • A team that believes every role matters — and every success is shared

  • Medical, dental, vision, and life insurance benefits

  • Paid time off, holiday pay, uniform allowance, and pet care discounts

  • Opportunities for growth, continuing education, and developing your skills in specialty care

  • A workplace where your compassion, professionalism, and teamwork are celebrated
