Qualifications for the Role:

  • You are a Certified Veterinary Technician or Experienced Veterinary Assistant, with a minimum of two years in the sport horse industry with stellar horse handling abilities.
  • Flexibility to travel between Florida and New York based on seasonal demands.
  • Motivated, reliable, and organized individuals passionate about equine athletes.
  • Proficiency in longeing, jogging horses, and adeptness in equine restraint techniques.
  • Stellar communication skills, both within the team and with clients.
  • Physical capability to lift 50+lbs.
  • Valid driver's license, a pristine driving record, and successful background and drug screenings.

 

Work Schedule & Location:

  • Full-time and potentially part-time roles available.
  • Weekend and after-hours availability is a must.
  • Seasonal rotations:
    • New York (May – October)
    • Florida (late October – April)
  • Work hours range between 40-50 hrs./week, with compensated overtime.
