Abel Keppy Animal Hospital is relocating and rebranding as Twin Bridges Animal Hospital. Twin Bridges Animal Hospital, formerly Abel Keppy Animal Hospital, is a well-established veterinary hospital with 2 doctors offering comprehensive and compassionate care to our patients. Our goal is to deliver an exceptional care.

 

Veterinary Technicians play an integral role in our hospital whether they are handling patient care, taking care of clients, assisting doctors in surgery, or providing quality nursing care to hospitalized patients. You will fully utilize your skillset and continue to develop your knowledge! We are looking for a compassionate technician who is ready to put their skills and leadership ability to work!  

 

What to expect:  

·         Quality Medicine. Our team of Doctors and Technicians utilize state of the art equipment to perform excellent care and treatment services. 

·         Technicians fully utilize their skills to provide a wide range of treatments and procedures.  

·         Schedule – Full Time, 4 days/week, rotating Saturdays, Closed on Sundays, and major holidays.  

 

 Our Ideal Candidate has/is:  

·         Previous veterinary experience in a clinical setting is required

·         Ability to communicate and work with veterinarians, the team, clients, and patients in a compassionate and kind manner  

·         Ability to work efficiently and accurately in a fast-paced environment.  

·         Proficient with venipuncture including catheter placement and blood draws.   

·         Provide nursing care and husbandry for in-hospital patients including all DVM requested treatments, diagnostics, and medications  

·         Perform in-house lab testing  

·         Participate in all aspects of diagnostic radiology

·         Participate in surgery/dentistry, anesthesia monitoring, patient prep and recovery, etc.  

·         Perform dental prophylaxis in conjunction with utilization of digital dental radiographs
