Location: Canton, MA 
Schedule: Flexible 5-day work week with rotating Saturdays 
Compensation: Up to $30/hour based on experience

Canton Veterinary Hospital (CVH) is looking for a skilled and motivated Veterinary Technician to join our small but mighty team. About the Role: 

As a Veterinary Technician at CVH, you’ll work closely with our new veterinarian, providing essential support in surgery and anesthesia. You’ll play an integral role in patient care, maintaining hospital safety, and delivering compassionate service to clients and their pets. Our tenured staff includes a CSR who has been with us for 22 years and two technicians with over a decade of experience. We’re seeking someone with surgical and anesthesia experience, who is committed to continuous learning and ready to contribute to a strong, collaborative team.

Key Responsibilities: 

  • Assisting the veterinarian in surgery and anesthesia procedures 

  • Providing quality patient care and ensuring a safe environment for pets, clients, and staff 

  • Contributing to the maintenance of a clean and organized hospital 

  • Supporting client communication and education for best patient outcomes 

Qualifications: 

  • Certification as a Veterinary Technician (CVT)  

  • Anesthesia and surgery experience 

  • A commitment to patient care and continuous learning 

  • Excellent teamwork skills and a compassionate approach
