Certified Veterinary Technician (CVT)

Hopkinton Animal Hospital

Job Description

Hopkinton Animal Hospital has an opening for a full time veterinary technician! We are AAHA-accredited as both a General Practice and an Exotic Referral Practice, staffed with a high number of CVTs and 100% Fear Free Professionals, and we are looking for an individual who has a desire to provide high quality, compassionate care to join our team.

Our patient caseload is dogs, cats, and a high-level of exotic pets. We are also the “go-to” for the New Hampshire State Fish and Game Department and the locally known wildlife rehabilitator, Wings of the Dawn, for injured wildlife.

Our practice also offers i131 treatment for cats as well as radioactive synovetin injections. We pride ourselves on being able to offer innovative treatments for our patients and our team is always taking the opportunity to elevate the client and patient experience.

The ideal candidate has a desire to grow and learn and works well in a collaborative environment. We pride ourselves in our positive work environment and it shows through our minimal turnover of staff! No experience with exotics? No problem! We are happy to teach the right candidate! We also offer support for credentialing for eligible candidates. We also offer support for those looking to advance their skills with a VTS in clinical practice!

We offer competitive salary and benefits, a 401k, and CE package. We also offer a sign on bonus! Please submit cover letter and resume to amy.hebert@nva.com
