Job Description

Stoughton Veterinary Service is looking to add a Certified Veterinary Technician to our team. Our services include general wellness & preventative care, diagnostics, surgery, and even chiropractic therapy! We strive to provide a positive learning environment, ensuring great teamwork and excellent communication.

We are a full-service practice dedicated to providing exceptional care and services that are both thoughtful and informed. We welcome a variety of animals from common household pets such as cats & dogs, to exotic pets like birds, hamsters, rabbits, and even reptiles!

Responsibilities may include (but are not limited to):

Anesthesia monitoring, surgical assisting, dental prophylaxis, cytology, radiology, laboratory analysis, client education, and patient care.

The Ideal Candidate:

  • Someone with a passion for animal care
  • Detail oriented
  • CVT, new graduate or someone working towards obtaining licensure 
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Team player who enjoys a fast pace environment
  • Ability to remain calm during stressful and emotional situations

Schedule: Full time: 4 weekday shifts (7:30a-5:30p) and at least 1 Saturday morning a month (7:30a-12:00p).

Salary:  The base hourly range for this position is $16.00 - $22.00 per hour.  Our pay ranges are primarily determined by role, level, and location.  The range provided for each job positing reflects the minimum and maximum taget for the position.  Within the range, individual pay is deteremined by work location and additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training
