We are looking for a hardworking, driven, amazing person to join our team as a lead veterinary receptionist. We need this amazing person to show up every day ready to manage the front desk operations providing excellent customer service and ensuring a smooth experience for clients and their pets.
*This posistion is for 4 -10 hours shifts, and includeds alternating Saturday shifts.
Responsibilities
· Client service: Greet clients and their pets, answer phone calls, and provide client education
· Appointment scheduling: Schedule appointments, reschedule appointments, and monitor client flow
· Patient intake: Check in and out clients, and process payments
· Record management: Maintain accurate patient records, manage medical records, and reports
· Team leadership: Supervise and train reception staff, and set standards for client interactions
· Problem-solving: Address client concerns and complaints, and escalate issues to the appropriate staff member
· Cleaning: Ensure the reception area and front office are clean and organized
· Communication: Act as a liaison between clients and the veterinary team, and relay information to and from clients and doctors.
