Client Services Representative
Okanagan Veterinary Hospital
Job Description
Come for the medicine. Stay for the people. Grow with the opportunity.
Are you a passionate, resilient, and curious client services representative looking for a supportive, collaborative (and maybe a little chaotic) hospital? If that sounds like you, we think you’ll like it here.
Okanagan Veterinary Hospital is growing, and we’re looking for a part-time CSR to join our fantastic team in beautiful Kelowna, BC! With major renovations wrapping up this summer, our hospital is getting a fresh new look — think new dental suite, dedicated cat ward, additional exam room, and modernized reception space. It’s the perfect time to come on board and be part of this exciting new chapter.
We’re a team of animal lovers who believe in supporting one another, working hard, and laughing harder. Our team works closely together to provide excellent patient care. Whether you’re passionate about client education, medical file management, or social media, we give our CSR team the support they need to build their skills.
We see mostly cats and dogs, but… for those who like a bit of variety, pocket pets, capybaras, and even the occasional kangaroo have walked (or hopped) through our doors. Every day is different here — in the best way possible.
Here’s what you’ll get:
- A flexible schedule of weekdays and rotating Saturdays
- Competitive wages starting at $20 - $24/hour, commensurate with experience
- RRSP matching plan to help you plan for the future
- Wellness Spending Account because your well-being matters
- Extended health benefits
- Opportunities for CE and to attend industry events
- Staff discounts for your own furry crew
- Uniform allowance
- Supportive, skilled teammates who’ve got your back
- The chance to live and work in one of Canada’s most beautiful destinations (the perfect mix of hiking and vineyards in the summer and skiing in the winter!)
What we’re looking for:
- An outgoing, caring client services representative with a positive attitude
- Someone who thrives working with the public, maintains professionalism, and enjoys problem solving
- Comfortable on a computer, including proficiency in Microsoft 365
- Minimum typing speed of 60 wpm
- A love of animals, obviously
- Previous reception experience in a veterinary setting or relevant volunteer experience considered an asset
- Client services certification or other relevant education considered an asset
- Bonus points if you bring snacks. Triple points if you share.
You bring your passion, your skills, and your love of animals — we’ll provide the rest. Apply today or email your resume and cover letter to Keira Anderson at okanagan@okvet.net and join us in delivering outstanding care, one patient at a time.
