Casa Grande Animal Hospital is looking to add a quality team member. Our clinic is located halfway between Phoenix and Tucson. It is a quick 25 min drive from the Chandler area. Our clinic has been serving the community since 1962. We are a full-service animal hospital providing veterinary care to dogs, cats and large farm animals. We offer services such as wellness vaccines, sick exams, emergency services, surgical services, x-rays, ultra sound and farm calls.

As a Receptionist you will:

~ Schedule: 4 days a week, 10 hour shifts

     We are open Mon-Sun 8AM-6PM, schedules are usually 7:30AM- 6PM, 8AM-6PM or 9AM-7PM

~ Check In and Check out Clients

~ Dispense Prescription items per Vet instructions

~ Schedule appointments

~ Phone skills to make calls and assist with scheduling

~ Prioritize multiple tasks in a calm, organized manner

~ Use Avimark to add documentation and update client records

Maintain a positive attitude in all interactions with clients, pets and     other teammates.

~ Demonstrate ability to show empathy toward clients and treat pets     with compassion and respect.


Responsibilities / Qualifications:
• Knowledge of veterinary medical terminology and procedures.
• Experience with Avimark is preferred.
• Ability to work independently on assigned tasks as well as to     accept direction on given assignments.
• Possession of organizational skills.
• Critical thinking – Understanding logic and reasoning to identify the    strengths and weaknesses of alternative solutions, conclusions or      approaches to problems.
• Must possess strong verbal and written communication skills, good    judgment and ability to manage stressful situations.
