Client Services Representative

Alta Mesa Animal Hospital

Job Description

At Alta Mesa Animal Hospital, we believe exceptional veterinary care starts at the front desk. Our Client Service Representatives are the heart of the client experience — creating calm in stressful moments, building lifelong relationships, and supporting a team that truly enjoys working together.

Who We Are

We are a modern, team-driven veterinary hospital that values:

  • Kindness first — to our clients, patients, and each other

  • Clear communication & mutual respect

  • Professional growth at every level

  • Healthy work-life balance

  • A drama-free, solutions-focused environment

We take our medicine seriously — but not ourselves. We celebrate wins, support each other on tough days, and believe a great culture is built intentionally.

The Role

As a CSR, you will:

  • Welcome clients and patients with warmth and professionalism

  • Manage appointment scheduling and phone communication efficiently

  • Support the medical team through accurate record keeping and client education

  • Handle billing and financial conversations with clarity and empathy

  • Help create a smooth, low-stress experience for pets and their families

You are the first impression and the lasting memory of our hospital.

Professional Development

We invest in our people because growth matters.

  • Structured onboarding & mentorship

  • Ongoing communication and customer service training

  • Client experience education opportunities

  • Leadership development pathways

  • Clear opportunities for advancement

Whether you want to grow into a Lead CSR, Hospital Manager, or explore other areas of veterinary medicine, we support your goals.

Work-Life Balance

We believe caring for others starts with caring for ourselves.

  • Predictable scheduling - 4 ten-hour shifts per week

  • No Weekends

  • No late nights

  • Generous Vacation

  • Paid holidays

  • Mental health awareness & team support culture

Burnout is common in veterinary medicine — we actively work to prevent it.

Benefits

  • Competitive hourly pay (based on experience starting at $16/hour)

  • Health / dental / vision insurance

  • 401(k) with match

  • Employee pet care discounts

  • Team appreciation events

  • A workplace you’ll actually enjoy coming to

You Might Be a Great Fit If You:

  • Thrive in a fast-paced environment

  • Communicate clearly and compassionately

  • Love both people and pets

  • Stay calm under pressure

  • Value teamwork over ego

  • Want a long-term professional home

If you’re looking for more than “just a job” and want to grow in a positive, collaborative, and supportive hospital culture, we’d love to meet you.
