Central Coast Pet Emergency Hospital is hiring a part-time Veterinary Receptionist to work at our busy 24/7 veterinary hospital. You will be an integral member of a team that includes doctors, veterinary technicians, and veterinary assistants.
Highlights and job duties include:
· Greet clients in a compassionate and helpful manner.
· Professionally answer phones and assist callers.
· Accurately create and update medical records.
· Process hospital admissions and discharges including invoices and payments.
· Work collaboratively with hospital team members.
· Demonstrate excellent verbal and written communication skills.
· Must have good listening, critical-thinking, problem-solving, time-management, computer, and decision-making skills.
· Self-starter able to function effectively and independently in a fast-paced environment.
· Previous customer service experience required, medical or veterinary experience preferred.
Pay: $17.00 - $20.00 per hour based on background and experience
Schedule: Part-time, 4pm-11:30pm Saturdays, Sundays, and Mondays
