Job Description

We are looking for a part time energetic and friendly receptionist who loves pets and their parents as much as we do. We are a family friendly, small animal hospital looking for someone who has client service experience in an animal hospital. If you love to interact with clients, eat and work in a fun family atmosphere then this is the place for you. 

Requirements:

  • Ability to work mornings, evenings and weekends 
  • Customer/client service experience (preferred)
  • Ability to work at a computer for long periods of time
  • Clear communication
  • Efficient in multi-tasking
  • Love for the animals and the people who love them

Primary responsibilities include:

  • Scheduling appointments and future appointments
  • Using Avimark (PIMS) to document client interaction and communications
  • Communicate effectively with the technician, kennel and DVM staff on all items related to patient/clients
  • Greet clients and check them in for appointments
  • Checking out clients when appointments are completed
  • Responding to messages through multiple hospital platforms
  • Communicate with local specialty hospitals as needed
  • Give out lots of treats, compliments and pets to our furry friends who come to visit us
