Job Description

Woodburn Veterinary Clinic is searching for a full time Client Care Representative (Receptionist) who is willing to potentially also work some hours at our sister clinic in Canby. Must be available to work 3-4 full days per week (30 hour/week minumum) from 7:30a-6:30p. We are open M-F and not open on the weekends. 

Qualifications

  • Experience in front desk at a Veterinary Clinic or simular pet related positions is required for this job
  • Experience with dogs and cats in a professional or clinic setting is critical (can be volunteer work)
  • Enjoys working with people and diverse clients
  • Is caring, friendly, efficient with an eye to details
  • Creates a warm and welcoming impression
  • Critical thinking skills are a must for this position
  • Remains professional and courteous while handling multiple tasks with many interruptions

Responsibilities

  • Answer busy phones
  • Handles email communications
  • Greet clients
  • Admits and checks out patients
  • Process payments
  • Communicates information between clients, our doctors and technician staff
  • Computer skills, customer service skills, both in person and on the telephone and cash handling abilities are a must
  • Finds joy working at a fast pace to provide premiere customer service
  • Thrives working as part of a fun, experienced, knowledgeable team
  • Remains calm and collected in the face of an emergency or a difficult client situation
