Job Description

East End Veterinary Medical Centre located in Shadyside is looking to expand our reception staff. Our multi-doctor, busy practice is looking for a full-time high energy individual who is great at multi-tasking and staying organized. Much of the job requires communicating with clients so excellent customer service skills are a must. The following is a list of tasks involved with this position:
Scheduling various types of appointments.
Communicating with Veterinarians and staff.
Checking in and patients.
Checking out patients and taking payments over the phone.
Providing basic pet information to clients.
Taking down prescription information.
Keeping accurate medical records.
Confirming appointments.
Calling clients for updates.
Communicating pet questions to veterinarians.
Creating new client and patient medical charts.
Monitoring email and faxes
Approving online medical orders.While previous experience is preferred it is not a requirement. We are willing to train the right individual. This Full-time position has medical, dental, vision, and 401K benefits after probation period. Other benefits include an employee discount on services after the introductory period is completed
