Job Description

Southern Veterinary Center is a newly remodeled, fast-paced animal hospital dedicated to providing the highest level of care for cats and dogs. We are looking for a friendly, organized, and bilingual (English/Spanish) Veterinary Receptionist to join our team!

About the Role:
As the first point of contact for our clients, you’ll help create a welcoming and professional atmosphere while keeping our busy front desk running smoothly.

Responsibilities include:

  • Answering and directing phone calls

  • Checking clients and patients in and out

  • Handling large cash and credit transactions accurately

  • Communicating with pet owners in person and by phone

  • Managing prescription refills and coordinating with our online pharmacy

  • Maintaining accurate client and patient records

  • Supporting the veterinary team with daily administrative needs

Ideal Candidate:

  • Fluent in Spanish and English. We have a veterinarian who is fluent in Spanish and it is important to us to provide the best experience at every step of the patient visit for our Spanish-speaking pet owners!

  • Friendly, professional, and able to multitask in a busy environment

  • Excellent communication and customer service skills

  • Comfortable using computers and learning veterinary software

  • Previous veterinary or medical office experience is a plus

💰 Compensation: Competitive pay based on experience. $14-$18
📅 Schedule: 4 week days 7:30-5:30. One Saturday per month 8:00-12:00
