Client Services Representative

Arlington Pet Care Hospital

Job Description

Come be a part of our team!

We are currently searching for a superstar technician to add to our roster. At Arlington Pet Care, we are firm believers that even when "I" can't, "we" can, so operating as a team is important to us for that reason. We also believe in work-life balance and strive to ensure it is achieved with every team member through scheduling and paid time off. Being closed on holidays and Sundays helps to support work-life balance further. Our hospital has been serving the Arlington community for over 20 years. We are AAHA accredited and believe in providing the best possible care to our patients while giving our clients the absolute best service. Our hospital is closely located to AT&T stadium, Six Flags, and lots of great shopping and restaurants nearby. The Dallas/Fort Worth community is a great place to call home.

In addition to competitive wages, we can add value to your compensation package with the following:

  • medical, dental, and vision insurance
  • 401k
  • short-term, long-term disability, and life insurance
  • medical and dependent care FSA
  • uniform allowance
  • employee pet discount on services and Hill's pet nutrition

Enough about us, let's talk about you! We are looking for someone with prior client service experience, preferably in the veterinary industry. Our culture is very client-centered. We want our clients to feel welcome anytime they call or walk into our clinic, so you must be outgoing and friendly. Our ideal candidate would be personable yet professional, detail-oriented, and reliable.

At the front desk, you are the face and voice of our clinic. Therefore you can gain each client's trust and confidence in our ability to treat their pet. You are often the first and last person they interact with, so it is incredibly important that we find the right person for this role.

As a client service representative, your responsibilities will include:

  • Greeting visitors, answering telephones, and guiding clients and their pets to exam rooms.
  • Scheduling and confirming appointments.
  • Placing outbound calls and reaching out to prospective clients.
  • Presenting and explaining fees, including processing payments.
  • Recommending, selecting, and obtaining products and services, including prescriptions.
  • Answering questions regarding products and services, including educating clients on general animal husbandry and non-medical pet care (i.e., heartworm prevention, housebreaking, and flea & tick control).
  • Managing medical records, charts, reports, and correspondence.
  • Hospital maintenance (including removal of animal waste) and ensuring that the facility is neat and clean at all times—both inside and outside.

If you have these attributes, we would love to hear from you!
