Waterbury Veterinary Hospital is seeking an experienced and dedicated Client Service Representative for a full or part-time position.

This position would typically be 3-4 days per week approximately 8-10 hours per day with a rotating Saturday shift of 8-12.

We are a 4-doctor animal hospital located in beautiful Waterbury Center, Vermont. As a CSR, you are the first line of contact with our loyal clients and must be able to remain friendly and calm in a bustling hospital setting.

Your tasks and responsibilities will include greeting clients in person and over the phone, determining their needs quickly and efficiently, scheduling doctor's appointments, surgeries, and technician appointments, checking in appointments, maintaining thorough client communication via email, texting, phone call, and other various platforms, gathering and sending records to specialists, emergency clinics, and insurance agencies, collecting payment for services in the form of credit cards, cash, checks, and third-party financing, maintaining a clean and tidy front desk area and exam rooms, understanding and using medical terminology, abbreviations, and pharmaceutical names, learning and maintaining knowledge on breeds and temperaments, and much more!

Being professional and courteous, flexible, willing to learn, able to stay calm under pressure, observing attention to detail, and working well in a fast paced environment are all required.

Prior veterinary office experience is preferred but not necessary. Prior medical office experience is required We have an exceptional benefits package as well as a supportive leadership team to help you learn and grow in your role.
