As a Client Service Representative (CSR) at Broadview Animal Clinic, you will be the first point of contact for our clients and their pets. You’ll play a critical role in providing exceptional customer service, ensuring a welcoming and efficient front desk environment, and supporting the veterinary team by managing client communications and administrative tasks. This is a vital position that combines a passion for animals with excellent people skills.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Greet clients and patients warmly, creating a positive and professional first impression
  • Answer incoming phone calls, schedule appointments, and respond to client inquiries
  • Check-in and check-out clients, including processing payments and providing invoices
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date client and patient records using practice management software
  • Communicate clearly and compassionately with clients regarding hospital policies, procedures, and updates
  • Handle multi-line phone systems, emails, and in-person interactions efficiently
  • Facilitate the smooth flow of communication between clients and the veterinary team
  • Manage waiting room cleanliness and ensure a calm, safe environment for pets and their owners
  • Assist with general office duties such as filing, data entry, and inventory management support
  • Support clinic goals for customer satisfaction, retention, and compliance with preventive care

Qualifications:

  • High school diploma or equivalent required
  • Previous experience in a veterinary, medical, or customer service setting preferred
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Comfortable working in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment
  • Proficiency with computers and ability to learn veterinary software systems
  • Compassion for animals and empathy for their owners
  • Ability to handle sensitive situations with discretion and professionalism

Physical Requirements:

  • Ability to sit, stand, and walk for extended periods
  • Capable of handling occasional lifting of pets or supplies up to 50 lbs
  • Comfortable around animals of all sizes and temperaments

Schedule:

  • Must be able to work evenings and Saturday's. We are closed on Sunday's, yay!
  • Must be flexible with scheduling to meet the needs of the hospital

Compensation: $18.81 - $20
