Veterinary Technician Job | Louisville, CO


Louisville Family Animal Hospital is seeking a Credentialed Veterinary Technician to join our small, collaborative companion animal practice in Louisville, Colorado. This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced technician who values teamwork, strong client relationships, and high-quality patient care in a growing hospital environment.


We are currently in an exciting growth phase with new leadership and a focus on consistency, communication, and team support.

Key Responsibilities

  • Assist veterinarians with exams, diagnostics, and treatments
  • Induce and monitor anesthesia and support surgical procedures
  • Educate clients on preventive care and treatment plans
  • Maintain accurate medical records
  • Provide compassionate, attentive patient care
  • Support hospital flow in a true team-based environment


Schedule

Full-Time: Monday, Wednesday, Thursday, Friday
Part-Time: 2–3 days per week (Monday required)

  • Rotating 1 Saturday per month (9am–2pm)
  • No holidays


Compensation

  • $23–$27/hour, based on experience and technical skill


Qualifications

  • Credentialed Veterinary Technician (RVT / LVT / CVT) preferred
  • Strong anesthesia and surgical support skills
  • Comfortable with client education and communication
  • Team-oriented, positive, and ego-free approach
  • Prior small animal general practice experience preferred
