Job Description

We are seeking a friendly, organized, and dependable Customer Service Representative (CSR) to serve as the first point of contact for our clients. As a CSR, you will play a critical role in creating a positive first impression, managing daily front desk operations, and ensuring smooth communication between clients and our veterinary team.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Greet clients and pets warmly upon arrival, ensuring a professional and friendly front desk experience

  • Answer phones, respond to emails, and manage online appointment requests

  • Schedule appointments, surgeries, and follow-up visits accurately

  • Check in/out patients and process payments

  • Maintain and update client and patient records with accuracy

  • Communicate clearly with clients regarding services, policies, estimates, and wait times

  • Handle prescription requests and coordinate with veterinary staff as needed

  • Assist with administrative duties such as filing, scanning, and inventory support

  • Help maintain a clean, welcoming lobby and reception area

Qualifications:

  • High school diploma or equivalent required

  • Previous experience in customer service; veterinary or medical office experience preferred

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

  • Professional phone etiquette and a calm, empathetic demeanor

  • Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail

  • Proficiency with computers and familiarity with veterinary practice management software (preferred)

  • Comfortable around animals of all types and sizes

Work Schedule:

  • Full-time

  • Must be available for some evening and Saturday shifts

Compensation for this position ranges from $18.00-$21.00 per hour depending on experience.  This position is also eligible for a quarterly bonus.
