Position Overview:

We are looking for a friendly, organized, and motivated Customer Service Representative (CSR) to join our team! As the first point of contact for clients, the CSR plays a crucial role in ensuring a positive experience for both pets and their owners. This role requires strong communication skills, the ability to multi-task, and a passion for excellent customer service.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Client Interaction: Greet clients in person and over the phone, providing a warm and welcoming experience for every visitor.
  • Appointment Management: Schedule appointments, confirm bookings, and manage reminders for follow-up visits.
  • Record Keeping: Maintain accurate client and patient records in our practice management system.
  • Payment Processing: Process payments and maintain accurate financial records for services rendered.
  • Communication: Educate clients about hospital services, policies, and pet care recommendations.
  • Problem Resolution: Handle client concerns with professionalism, ensuring their issues are addressed promptly and effectively.
  • Collaboration: Work closely with the veterinary team to ensure smooth daily operations and high-quality client service.
  • Inventory Assistance: Help monitor and restock reception area supplies as needed.

Qualifications:

  • Previous experience in customer service, preferably in a veterinary, medical, or similar setting, is a plus but not required.
  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • A positive and professional demeanor with a passion for helping both people and pets.
  • Proficiency in using computers and ability to learn practice management software.
  • High school diploma or equivalent required.

Compensation:

The base hourly range for this position is $15.00 - $20.00. Our pay ranges are primarily determined by role, level, and location. The range provided reflects the minimum and maximum target for the position. Within this range, individual pay is determined by work location and additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training.
