Gregg Animal Hospital is hiring an experienced Veterinary Receptionist / Client Service Representative to join our growing small animal practice in Columbia, South Carolina.

Veterinary Receptionist Responsibilities
- Greet clients and patients and create a welcoming front desk experience
- Schedule appointments and manage the daily hospital schedule
- Answer phone calls and respond to client questions about services, appointments, and patient needs
- Perform initial triage of patient concerns, including urgent or emergent cases
- Process patient check-in and check-out efficiently
- Handle billing, invoices, and payment transactions
- Manage incoming and outgoing emails and text communications
- Maintain accurate client and patient records in practice management software
- Keep the reception area organized and presentable
- Escalate complex questions or concerns to veterinarians or senior staff when appropriate
Qualifications
- Minimum 1-3 years of experience in a veterinary hospital or animal clinic preferred
- Strong client service and communication skills
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced veterinary environment
- Comfortable handling multi-line phone systems and scheduling software
- Strong organizational and multitasking abilities
- Professional written and verbal communication skills
- Positive attitude and willingness to support the hospital team
