Job Description

Summary:

National Veterinary Associates is looking for a Digital Experience Intern to gain hands-on experience while assisting with website building and content creation for our animal hospitals and pet resorts. If you are a creative thinker and problem-solver with excellent grammar, organization skills, and attention to detail, come join our team!

This position is a paid, part-time role in support of an ongoing project.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Website Production
    • Utilize enterprise content library to create small business websites
    • Collect and create local marketing copy to supplement enterprise content library
  • Asset Management

    • Collect and curate photography and graphics from various sources
    • Collect and curate digital documents for online distribution
  • Project Management

    • Communicate and distribute project information to relevant stakeholders
    • Manage a project calendar and prioritize tasks as needed
    • Present and escalate relevant data or issues as they arise
    • Collaborate with in-house team members and agency partners

Position Details:

  • Paid, part-time internship (up to 7 hours per day, 35 hours per week)
  • Flexible schedule available to account for class schedule (if needed)
  • Intern positions are available immediately
  • The base hourly range for this position is $16.50 - $18.00

Qualifications:

  • Excellent oral and written communication skills
  • Strong project management skills, adept at organizing, meeting deadlines, and multi-tasking
  • Ability to work independently with a “roll up your sleeves” approach to work
  • Incredibly curious, an active listener, self-motivated, organized, innovative, and pragmatic
  • A servant leadership approach
  • Comfort with word and image processing software such as Microsoft Word and Adobe Photoshop or Affinity Photo is a plus
  • Familiarity with online marketing functionality via HTML, CSS, and JavaScript is a plus
