Are you passionate about providing exceptional care to exotic pets? The Center for Bird and Exotic Animal Medicine (CBEAM), located near Seattle, WA, is seeking a dedicated full-time overnight associate veterinarian to join our thriving exotics-exclusive practice.

About Us: Since 2006, CBEAM has been dedicated to delivering compassionate, high-quality care for birds, small mammals, reptiles, and other non-traditional pets. As the only exotics-exclusive hospital in the Pacific Northwest offering 24/7 emergency services, we take pride in our state-of-the-art facilities and comprehensive medical offerings. Our collaboration with local specialists in cardiology, radiology, oncology, and more ensures our patients receive the best possible care.

Our Team: This is an exciting opportunity to work alongside a seasoned team of exotics veterinarians- some with over a decade in the field. Our hospital includes boarded specialists, residents, and a highly trained support staff, creating a culture of ongoing learning and medical innovation. Position Details: The Emergency Exotics Veterinarian role follows a rotating two-week schedule of three overnight shifts one week and three overnight shifts with one surgery shift the following week.

Ideal Candidate: Our ideal candidate will have one or more of the following qualifications:

  • At least one year of experience in exotic or emergency medicine.
  • Completion of advanced training (internship or residency) in exotics/zoo medicine, emergency medicine, or critical care (preferred).
  • Board certification (ACZM, ABVP, or ECZM exotics specialization, or ACVECC emergency/critical care specialization) or board eligibility is strongly preferred.
  • We are also open to candidates with less experience who possess a strong willingness to learn.
