Powers Pet Emergency and Specialty provides 24/7 emergency care with specialty services on site. Our list of equipment includes latest Idexx in-house laboratory, two digital radiology rooms, endoscopes, ER ultrasound, CT, MRI, three surgical suites, 8 ER exam rooms.

We are searching for a DVM to join our expanding team of individuals serving this quaint southern Colorado community. The right candidate has a drive for the challenges emergency medicine brings your way, has a sense of humor, is team-oriented, emotionally mature and will to work with the others on the team in the promotion of a positive team environment and always working to improve as a veterinarian and serve the pets and the clients with compassion, empathy, and integrity.


Colorado State Veterinary License Required. 


Full time minimum starting range for base: $110,000.00 - $150,000.00 annually.


Relief rate: $130 per hour. 


Requirements Additional Salary Information: Salary is based on experience level and/or availability. Generous production percentage in a pro-sal arrangement.
