Chaparral Veterinary Medical Center in Cave Creek, Arizona, is looking for an Equine Emergency Specialist.

Our Ideal Candidate:

• We desire a specialist with a keen interest in equine emergency medicine and surgery.
• Applicants who are DACVS, DACVECC, or board eligible will be considered. We can accommodate a board eligible specialist desiring mentorship. You will be joining 3 DACVS and 1 DACVIM on the hospital team. On call duty sharing is flexible among 4 specialists.
• An enthusiastic, flexible, team-oriented and self-motivated veterinarian would be a great fit!

A proud member of our community since 1971, today, Chaparral Veterinary Medical Center offers medical care for both equine and small animal patients in a state-of-the-art facility featuring climate-controlled treatment rooms, 12 stall equine nursing unit, a 5- stall isolation facility and a fleet of ambulatory vehicles for on-farm work. We have 2 surgical suites uniquely dedicated to serving critical soft tissue cases and orthopedic repairs as well as imaging suites providing thorough diagnostic capabilities including resting and dynamic endoscopy, 1000 mA radiograph machine, nuclear scintigraphy, MRI, and ultrasound. At Chaparral Veterinary Medical Center, we believe that a team approach is the most effective way to provide the highest quality of care. We, therefore, collaborate both with our in-house specialist veterinarians and outside specialists on an as-needed basis for complex health problems.
