Massachusetts Equine Clinic is a four-doctor, full-service equine ambulatory practice. We proudly serve a wide variety of equine disciplines across the picturesque landscapes of New England, from sport horses to cherished companions. Our internship program provides a comprehensive experience in equine veterinary medicine, designed to build both clinical expertise and confidence.
Through this program, you will gain hands-on experience in:
- Wellness and preventative care
- Sports medicine and lameness
- Emergency medicine and wound management
- Field surgery and anesthesia
- Infectious disease management
- Client communication and practice management
You’ll have access to advanced diagnostic tools, including digital radiography, ultrasounds, and gastroscopes. You will become familiar with therapies such as Pro-Stride, IRAP, and Alpha 2EQ, while building essential skills including power-floating, suturing lacerations, colic workups, and diagnosing and treating lameness and complex medical cases. Our goal is to provide a well-rounded, supportive learning environment, with over sixty years of combined experience from our doctors ready to mentor you.

- The expected salary for this position is $45,000 per year. The final compensation offered may vary based on factors including experience, education, certifications, skills, geographic location, and internal equity considerations.
