Our team is known for delivering compassionate, professional care while fostering a supportive environment that mentors and inspires the next generation of equine veterinarians.

Our internship program provides a comprehensive experience in equine veterinary medicine, designed to build both clinical expertise and confidence.

  • Wellness and preventative care
  • Sports medicine and lameness
  • Emergency medicine and wound management
  • Field surgery and anesthesia
  • Infectious disease management
  • Client communication and practice management

You’ll have access to advanced diagnostic tools, including digital radiography, ultrasounds, and gastroscopes. You will become familiar with therapies such as Pro-Stride, IRAP, and Alpha 2EQ, while building essential skills including power-floating, suturing lacerations, colic workups, and diagnosing and treating lameness and complex medical cases. Our goal is to provide a well-rounded, supportive learning environment, with over sixty years of combined experience from our doctors ready to mentor you.

As an intern, you’ll become part of the Mass Equine legacy—supported, challenged, and prepared for whatever path your career takes next.
