Pender Veterinary Centre in Fairfax, VA is looking for an Exotics Veterinarian to join their growing team!

***$15,000 Sign-On Bonus***


Pender Veterinary Centre-Fairfax is a 20,000 sq ft, 24/7 practice in Northern Virginia that includes a dedicated exotics department, a small animal practice, and an emergency practice, all located in the same building.


Our state-of-the-art hospital includes modern surgical suites, reference-grade lab, laser therapy, digital radiology, ultrasonography, endoscopy, and much more.


Pender Veterinary Centre was founded on the principles of integrity, compassion, and quality.  Our veterinarians and staff are passionate about veterinary medicine, continuous learning, and client service—and we look for those attributes in all our candidates.


We offer:

  • An exotics clinic on-site with 24-hour care in our ECC department
  • Fully stocked closed pharmacy
  • Dedicated nursing staff and patient/client care managers
  • Digital radiography and ultrasonography available in-house
  • An established caseload and reputation within the community
  • Endoscopic equipment with biopsy instruments and large screen TV
  • A team-based approach to medicine that is 28 doctors strong and growing
  • A total of 15 exam rooms, large ICU, dedicated isolation, and spacious surgery/procedure ward
  • In-house lab machines (CBC, chemistry, electrolyte, coag monitors, cross-matching and more) for rapid results
  • Multi-parameter monitors that can provide clinicians with continuous ECG, pulse oximetry, capnography, and blood pressure
  • 24/7/365 support from Emergency/Critical Care staff to facilitate overnight/weekend patient care and critical care patient needs

Schedule:

  • 4 day work week
  • Rotating weekends
  • Open to candidates who would like to see dog/cat appointments one day a week
