Maintenance Assistant – Chaparral Veterinary Medical Center
Chaparral Veterinary Medical Center is seeking a dependable and hardworking Maintenance Assistant to help maintain our hospital and surrounding property. This role is essential in keeping our facility clean, safe, and running smoothly for our team, clients, and patients.
Schedule:
- Thursday – Monday
- 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist with general maintenance and upkeep of the hospital and property
- Perform routine cleaning of hospital areas, including exam rooms, treatment areas, and common spaces
- Maintain outdoor areas, including basic groundskeeping and organization
- Handle minor repairs and maintenance tasks as needed
- Ensure cleanliness and organization of workspaces and storage areas
- Assist with waste disposal and maintaining sanitation standards
- Support the team with additional tasks as needed
Qualifications:
- Previous maintenance or custodial experience preferred
- Ability to perform physical tasks including lifting, bending, and standing for extended periods
- Strong attention to detail and organization
- Reliable and punctual with a strong work ethic
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
