Job Description

The Cat Doctor is in search of a full-time Associate Veterinarian for our growing feline-only hospital in beautiful Boise, ID. Our hospital has been serving our loyal clients for over 25 years and we are proud to continue to practice progressive medicine in our charming facility.

Our doctors practice high-quality medicine with an enthusiastic and dedicated support staff. Our ideal candidate will have excellent communication skills, a desire for continued education, and ideally, an interest in feline-only medicine and dentals. We have strong mentorship; with our experienced 2 doctor team, we pride ourselves on collaboration. To best serve our community, we recently expanded our services to include prompt care- so if urgent care medicine is an interest, it is an option.

Our team prides itself on a positive work environment, a strong sense of team, great schedule with a “work hard/play hard” mentality (we enjoy our time off too!!).  This position offers a base salary plus production (which equates to 100-140k per year), moving allowance, health insurance, ancillary benefits, CE allowance, licensing and AVMA dues, pet care discounts, and more. Full-time associates work 3-to-4-day work weeks, and no weekends (except the occasional on-call responsibilities for hospitalized pets.). We are only open Monday through Friday with 30-minute appointment slots.
