Carefree Cats is a well established Feline only clinic that has been a part of the Colorado Springs community for over 15 years. We are an AAFP Feline Friendly Gold Level Practice (NO declaws!) and are actively working to attain Fear Free certification for all staff members in 2024. We use cat friendly handling at all times and all staff members are well trained in restraint methods. This makes sure kitties (and staff) are safe and comfortable.
Our clients are fully committed to providing the best care possible for their cats and are willing to do advanced diagnostics/ complex treatments to make sure their kitties are well.
We work closely with local Internists, Dentists, Cardiologists, and Emergency centers when referral is needed. If needed mobile specialists can be utilized for advanced diagnostics.

-Digital radiology and state of the art equipment (new fully digital radiographs)
-Digital oral radiographs
-Brand new Mindray DP 50 ultrasound with linear and curvilinear probes
Job Summary:
In addition to the responsibilities outlined below, the Associate Veterinarian is an invaluable member of the hospital team who works directly with a Managing DVM and supporting medical staff. This individual advances the quality of feline medicine in the practice and provides exceptional client service to our clients and patients.
