Job Description

Red Bank Veterinary Hospital (RBVH) is seeking an additional General Practice Veterinarian to join our team of 11 experienced GP doctors in Red Bank, New Jersey.

RBVH was founded in 1986 with the goal of providing both general practice and specialty care under one roof. As we have grown into one of the nation’s leaders in high-quality specialty and emergency medicine, our general practice team has remained central to our identity. Our general practitioners deliver high-quality first-opinion care, supported by in-house specialty and emergency services, and benefit from the collaboration, learning, and professional growth that come with working in a large teaching hospital.

This role offers a consistent Friday–Monday schedule with a blend of appointment days and a dedicated procedure day, perfect for a doctor looking to grow in a supportive, highly skilled environment. The anticipated schedule for this role is: Friday, 12pm-8pm, Saturday and Sunday, 9am – 5pm and Monday, 12pm-8pm. Friday – Sunday will be reserved for appointments and Monday will be reserved for procedures.


About the Role:

As a GP Veterinarian at RBVH, you will:
• Manage a variety of appointments, preventive care, and sick visits.
• Perform procedures on a dedicated Monday procedure day.
• Collaborate within a large team of GP doctors and work closely with specialists across multiple departments.
• Provide high-quality medical decision-making with support from experienced technicians and client service staff.


Requirements:

• DVM/VMD degree (or equivalent)
• Eligible for New Jersey veterinary licensure
• Mentorship or internship experience required
• Strong communication and client service skills
• Comfort with both appointment-based care and procedures
