Northwest Equine Veterinary Associates is a 100% ambulatory equine veterinary practice, in search of a full-time Inventory & Operations Lead for a busy multi-doctor practice.

Duties include inventory and medication management, laboratory and equipment management, maintaining vendor relationships, maintaining DEA compliance, managing bio hazard disposal, data entry, and supporting the Practice Manager and Managing DVMs tactically and strategically. 

Well suited candidates are detail oriented, highly organized, have strong planning skills, have outstanding written and verbal communication skills, and work well in a fast-paced team environment. The ideal candidate is a goal-oriented employee who embraces multi-tasking, and working cooperatively with our valued clients, support staff, and veterinarians.

The base hourly range for this position is $21 to $25per hour depending on experience. Our pay ranges are primarily determined by role, level, and location. The range provided for each job posting reflects the minimum and maximum target for the position. Within the range, individual pay is determined by work location and additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training.  Full benefits package including medical, dental, and vision is available.

 

Knowledge and/or experience in the following areas:

  • Inventory Management.
  • Proficiency with EzyVet.
  • Supervisory and leadership experience.
  • Reporting and data analysis.
  • Problem-solving and resolution management skills.
  • Oral and written communication skills.
  • Basic computer skills i.e., Microsoft Office suite
  • Interpersonal skills with staff and clients and works well in a team environment.
  • Customer service strategies.
  • Make decisions confidently and effectively.
  • Model a professional and courteous manner with staff and clients.
