🐾 Boarding Kennel Assistant – Join Our Animal-Loving Team! 🐾

Do you love working with animals and have a strong work ethic? Are you detail-oriented, responsible, and ready to jump into a fast-paced, sometimes loud environment? If so, our veterinary practice is looking for YOU to be our next Boarding Kennel Assistant!

We are a busy, 5-doctor veterinary practice with boarding and grooming services, dedicated to providing top-notch care for the pets in our community. Our boarding team plays a HUGE role in keeping our furry guests safe, comfortable, and happy while their owners are away.

What You’ll Do:

🐾 Provide excellent care for boarding pets, ensuring they are safe, clean, and well-fed
🚶‍♂️ Handle dogs and cats of all sizes confidently, including learning proper leash control & restraint techniques
✨Clean and disinfect kennels, play areas, and food/water stations with great attention to detail
🐶 Monitor pet health and behavior, reporting any concerns to the veterinary team
🎾 Give pets exercise, enrichment, and lots of love!
📋 Assist with general tasks to keep the boarding facility running smoothly

What We’re Looking For:

  • A strong work ethic – someone who is reliable and ready to work hard
  • Attention to detail – cleanliness and pet safety are top priorities
  • Experience with animals OR a willingness to learn proper handling techniques
  • Comfort in a fast-paced, sometimes loud environment with barking dogs and playful pets
  • A team player who takes direction well and is eager to help wherever needed
  • Happy to speak to clients on the phone and comfortable using a practice management software system to schedule bookings.

Previous experience in animal care is a plus, but we’re happy to train the right person who is passionate about working with animals!
