About the Role:

We’re looking for a compassionate and motivated Kennel Assistant to join our team. This role is perfect for someone who wants to work hands-on with animals and develop their skills in a supportive, positive environment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide daily care for animals including feeding, watering, and exercising
  • Providing gentle and safe handling of pets.
  • Clean and sanitize kennels, cages, and animal living areas
  • Monitor animal behavior and health, reporting any concerns to the supervisor
  • Administer medications as directed by veterinary staff
  • Assist with grooming and bathing of animals as needed
  • Maintain accurate records of animal intake, behavior, and medical treatments
  • Interact with pet owners and provide updates on their pets' well-being
