Location: Southern Veterinary Center
Schedule: Part-time — Weekdays 3:00 PM to 5:30 PM and Saturdays 8:00 AM to 12:00 PM. Flexibile schedule.
Pay Rate: $13 per hour

Position Overview
The Kennel Assistant plays a vital role in keeping our clinic clean, organized, and running smoothly. This is an excellent entry-level position for someone who enjoys working around animals and wants to gain experience in a veterinary environment.
Responsibilities

Clean and disinfect kennels, exam rooms, and common areas

Wash and fold laundry

Wash and sanitize dishes and instruments

Restock supplies in exam rooms and treatment areas

Empty trash and maintain a clean work environment

Sweep and mop floors regularly

Follow safety and infection-control protocols

Assist team members as needed in a fast-paced setting
Qualifications

Reliable, punctual, and able to follow instructions

Positive attitude and willingness to learn new tasks

Strong attention to detail and good time management skills

Comfortable working in a fast-paced environment

Must be able to lift up to 40 lbs and stand for extended periods
